EDC
A list of my every-day carry.
- Pens: In my pocket there’s always either a Micron or Muji pen. I also often carry a LAMY AL-star, since nothing beats a fountain pen for writing.
- Notebook: My favorite pocketable notebook is the Muji Passport Notebook. However, they are always out of stock so I often end up having to use other notebooks which unfortunately are not as pocket-friendly.
- Reading: I always have either a book or my Kobo (Clara 2E) on me. In my experience, the best way to start reading more is to always have something to read with you. Since I study at a university in a different city, I also spend a lot of time in trains, and reading is a great way not to waste that time.
- Wallet: The Secrid Slim Storage wallet is the first card wallet I’m actually happy with. It does its job and is small enough.
- Camera: My every-day film camera is the Minox 35 GL. It’s one of the smallest 35mm film cameras ever made and fits in most pants or jackets. It’s usually stocked with Kodak UltraMax, Kodak ColorPlus, or Ilford XP2 (most photo stores only develop C-41 locally these days).
- Music: I was gifted an old Walkman a while ago and have been building a cassette collection since. While it’s not the most-used item here, I really appreciate the different music-listening experience it brings.
- Watch: Either a Swatch/Omega MoonSwatch or a Casio AE1200WHD-1A, depending on which one better fits the vibe. The MoonSwatch is one of the Snoopy versions, which is kinda cool. Every-day objects should be fun!
- Sunglasses: Not much to say here…
